Back after a long hiatus, Fight Fest is back to Palm Square, Centre Point, Kota Kinabalu on November 30th & Dec 1st from 12pm to 6pm.
It features ISKA Amateur K1 & Boxing. Participants from various local gyms.
Aside from combat sports competition , there will also feature martial art demonstrations such as Muaythai Wai Kru from Sabahan IFMA Youth world champion, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu demonstrations from Persatauan BJJ Negeri Sabah & Filipino Arnis by trained fighters & instructors.
According to founder , Johan Julian, this year’s venue is back at Center Point Mall like in 2019 as the management of the mall are very supportive of combat sports event and also the set up in Centre Point mall gives good exposure to the general public to know more about combat sports as there’s no entrance fee. As this edition will be focusing solely on the new generations of fighters, fighting in a mall setting will also benefit the fighters to be more accustomed to crowds reaction, be it cheers or jeers.

For this 30 NOV, around 25 bouts will be competed. This is a ISKA sanctioned event. Fight Fest was the first fight promotion to introduce Kickboxing rules fight in East Malaysia when they organised it in 2015.
For this new generation, Fight Fest has also evolve it’s logo to a more impactful and aggressive look that represent the fighting spirit of Borneo warriors.
