But the one on many people’s mind & mouth is the Welterweight bout of Gilbert Burns vs Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev.
The trash talk by Khamzat really gets the attention. He may only have 4 fight in UFC, but he is undefeated as a pro at 10-0-0.The way he dominate all his UFC opponent is astonishing.
A former BJJ world champion, Burns is no slouch. He is 20-4 and was in a title fight with Kamaru Usman in Feb 2021. He is currently rank No.3 in the division
Burns is not taking Chimaev lightly, for this fight vs Borz, Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman step in to help him. Burns team Sanford MMA also brought in some unnamed Russian grapplers to get him ready.
This fight is very interesting, if Burns win this convincingly, may set himself for a rematch with Usman.
If Khamzat wins, Dana White said, matching him up with Colby Covington is in the works.
