The roar of the crowd, the clash of gloves, and the spirit of warriors — all will converge at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, on 6 December 2025. The Mega Fight Night (MFN) Grand Final promises to be Malaysia’s most electrifying combat sports event of the year, blending world-class fights, cultural showcases, and entertainment in one unforgettable spectacle.

Organized by Mega Fight Night International (MFN), the Grand Final will be held at over 1,800 meters above sea level — making it the highest-altitude combat sports event in the world. This event is not just about fights; it’s about pushing limits, celebrating martial arts heritage, and showcasing Malaysia’s rising new generation of fighters.

A Stage Like No Other

The Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands — known for hosting world-class concerts and international shows — will transform into a fight coliseum for one night only.
Fans can expect a full-day experience:

  • Day Session (10 AM – 4 PM): Amateur boxing and Muay Thai bouts featuring Malaysia’s up-and-coming fighters battling for recognition and national pride.
  • Main Event (6 PM onwards): Professional Muaythai matchups under the spotlight, live performances, a traditional Wai Kru Ram Muay showcase, and a powerful cultural performance celebrating the warrior spirit of Asia.

This combination of competition, culture, and entertainment is what sets MFN apart from conventional fight events. It’s not just about who wins — it’s about honoring the journey of every athlete stepping into the ring.

The Fight Card – Rising Stars and Fan Favorites

The evening main card features several highly anticipated title-belt matchups:

  • 🥊 Yuskhairul  ‘Mat Korro’ vs Hafizi – Two experienced strikers promising a technical yet explosive showdown. ( Mega 8 Pro Muaythai ) . In the press con Mat Korro said within round 1 he will get the KO.
  • 🥊 Nigel vs Nawid – Expect fireworks from this clash of speed and power. ( Mega 8 Boxing )
  • 🥊 Firdaus vs Khai Weng – A classic matchup between two local heroes known for their aggressive, forward-pressing style. ( Mega 8 Muaysports Class A )

These are fighters that have gone through 3 stage of fights to reach this Mega 8 Grand final. The tournament format is a true test of a champion.

Other bouts to watchout for is Keng Fai vs Xifeng from China. Keng Fai was the MIMMA Lightweight champion that have turned pro boxing, holding several championship belt.  With serious KO power, he faces the biggest test of his career: Shang Xifeng, the T1 China Champion with 33 wins to his name. China’s finest vs Malaysia’s powerhouse — a clash of nations, pride, and pure violence.

As for my personal favourite to lookout for, its the  Pro Muaythai bout of Malaysian Izat Zaki vs Filipino Khen Marques. This may not be a title fight but will  promise to be a barn burner.

Izat has 47 wins to his record and the undefeated Filipino national champion Khen Marques mocked the huge weight difference, saying it’d be embarrassing for Izat to lose to a lighter man.
Izat’s reply was calm and cold:“ You agreed to the fight. Don’t use that as an excuse when you lose.”

They will also be a special bout of Grappling. Between Jihin Radzuan ( MIMMA Champion & ONE Championship female stars ) vs Mila Mohsin, a gold medalist grappler whom is also an actress and a gym owner.

Lookout also for Tony Lim, the person that went viral last month as he defended himself against a security guard, by knocking him out cold on the pavement.

Championship reward

The fighter that will emerged champion for Mega 8 Pro Muaythai, Mega 8 Boxing & Mega 8 Muaysports Class A, will walk away with a beautiful championship belt.

These belts, forged in brilliance and built for legends, its more than a trophy — it’s a symbol of supremacy.

Weighing an impressive 5 kilograms, this masterpiece radiates power and prestige, embodying the fighting spirit of warriors. Crafted with intricate gold  / silver detailing and adorned with tribal-inspired engravings, it represents both heritage and honor — a tribute to the roots of combat and the heart of the fighter.

The bold, commanding MFN insignia sits proudly at the center, surrounded by elegant filigree that captures the energy and artistry of the fight world. Every curve and carving tells a story — of sweat, sacrifice, and victory.

When the winner straps this belt around their waist, they don’t just hold gold — they hold glory, respect, and the legacy of champions.

And that’s not all, for the first time, Champion will also be awarded the MFN (Mega Fight Night) Championship Ring. It’s the symbol of combat sports greatness forged in gold brilliance and pure warrior spirit. Weighing 120 grams, this masterpiece captures the essence of victory in every facet.

Each ring is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, featuring a stunning array of decorative stones that shimmer under the lights — not for luxury, but for legacy. The bold MFN insignia, set in deep red and surrounded by golden glory, signifies the ultimate recognition of a champion’s journey — earned through discipline, sacrifice, and courage.

Both the championship belt and the ring were designed by MFN President Max Lee’s wife — an experienced architect with a sharp artistic vision who also shares the same warrior spirit and passion as her husband.

The belt & ring is not just jewelry. It’s a badge of honor, a statement that says: “I fought. I bled. I conquered.”

Only the elite of the ring can wear this crown on their hand — the MFN Muaythai Champion Ring. Because true warriors don’t just win fights… they wear their legacy.

More Than a Fight – A Celebration of Culture & Art

In a nod to its Southeast Asian roots, MFN has made it a tradition to blend martial arts with cultural performances. This year’s Grand Final will feature a Wai Kru performance by multiple gold medalist Ariesha Dania , Malaysia Hands Percussion – bringing explosive energy with a dynamic percussion performance and also the appearance of singer Ziha Salleh, the Akademi Fantasia alumni will showcase her amazing vocals to entertain the crowds.

A Word from the Organizers

According to Max Lee ( President of MFN ), the goal of this Grand Final is to elevate Malaysian combat sports to global standards. By combining top-level production, entertainment and authentic martial arts, MFN aims to give local fighters a platform that rivals any international event.

Ask on how did the press conference on 2 NOV went, he said is happy on how smooth it was, expressing gratitude for the fighters’ passion, respect and energy. Although some main-card fighters like Keng Fai, Jihin, Fendi, and Ariq Iqwan couldn’t attend, he assured fans that this upcoming MFN Grand Final is the most talent-packed lineup yet.

He emphasised that MFN isn’t about social media hype — it’s about preserving the true essence of martial arts. While engagement numbers may not be flashy, the fighters embody skill, discipline, and authenticity — the “arts” in martial arts.

The organiser also addressed recent drama & controversy of another combat sports promotion that became Malaysia’s headline, urging the community to move past negativity for the growth of the sport. He said promoters should be very careful in hyping up and event as any negative outcome will impact the combat sports industry as a whole.

Highlighting the evolution of athletes who grew from amateurs to pros through MFN, he thanked those who continue to support the platform — fighters, gyms, and friends who even accepted lower pay or offered help out of loyalty and belief in the mission.

He closed with a heartfelt call to action, inviting everyone to join the movement and witness the MFN Grand Finalon December 6th at Genting Highlands’ Arena of Stars, celebrating the true spirit of martial arts in Malaysia.
